A rhythm, boss rush game set in the industrial revolution. Players must move and attack on beat to the background song and fight for their job back.
Trapped in Space
A looping animated sequence in first person that takes place in a deadly space station. This was rendered in Maya and processed in Adobe After Effects.
Joseph Kills Lucy
A rhythm-hybrid, boss rush game where the player must attack to the rhythm of the song and perform combos to defeat a series of bosses. This is a prototype.
Weensy and the Giant
A 2-player Co-Op VR game where players can shrink and grow to navigate and explore a mystical garden.
Screwdriver Shader
A practice in creating shader textures for a screwdriver.
Desert Mouse
A surrealist render in Maya where a computer mouse is textured to resemble a scaly animal that could realistically live in the desert.
Gravity: Null
A 3D platformer where the player must escape a collapsing space ship using the power to stop gravity. Escape within 20 seconds or be blasted into space!

Hi! My name is Yannan Ma but I also go by Mayan. I am a game designer with experience in 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, VFX, programming, and project management. I enjoy designing player experiences and thinking about what makes a game fun.
